Police Roll Out Customer Care Services

United Kingdom -- A UK police force has started to
implement a web-based customer service management platform with the aim of
improving its customer care services and helpdesk.
The Dyfed Powys Police force, Wales hopes that new software will fall into
line with the UK government's approach to IT service management best
practice.
The customer service management tools consist of a customer care portal,
service desk, problem and knowledge management and survey applications.
The software application is provided by ICCM, suppliers of service
management and helpdesk software and will be implemented throughout 2008.
