Moyra Cussons and Elizabeth Johnston, Tesco, Dundee Michelle Webster of the Tesco Dundee charity committee said:

“This is a fantastic scheme that anyone can get involved in by donating used items they no longer need. It really is heart warming to see the ‘Thank you’ letters from our Charity of the Year Cancer Research UK, showing how they will use the money raised from the sale of the items we have donated.”

“Most people have unused items cluttering up their wardrobe. This is a simple and very effective way for

Tesco staff to clear out some space and help beat cancer at the same time by generating much needed goods for our shops.”

There are currently forty Tesco ‘donation stations’ across the UK, located in offices, depots and selected stores. Tesco Cardiff Customer Service Centre; Dundee’s sister site, has also reported similarly exceeding the 2000 mark.
