BTW, I used to work as an (Inbound) Call centre agent back in my country before I came to the Gulf (Qatar).

Would you say there are differences in approach to customer service in the Gulf countries compared to European ones?

I can't say there is. Actually, I've never been to other Gulf countries/states aside from Qatar. So, I'm not in a position to say so.

However, from my experience here (Qatar) compared to my my previous work exposures/experiences(Philippines), there is a difference. So see, back in my country wherein customer service is patterned and customized to cater to the western and/or European clientele, we can say that we are at par with the best customer servic provider in the world.

Qatar is a fast developing country/state and I can say that they will prove to be one of the best as well in due time.
