AskNicely and JAVLN Form Partnership to Enhance Insurance Broker Client Experience

AskNicely and JAVLN have announced a formal partnership designed to help insurance brokerages deliver a more consistent and responsive client experience.

The collaboration formalizes an existing relationship between both platforms, which are already used concurrently across several brokerages.

Within the current workflow, JAVLN Officetech centralizes client documents, correspondence, tasks, and administrative workflows inside Microsoft 365, while AskNicely captures real-time client sentiment across policy and claims touchpoints to identify churn risks and support frontline coaching.

Moving forward, both companies plan to develop tighter native product integrations.

Commenting on the announcement, AskNicely CEO Tony Ward highlighted the complementary nature of the two systems:

“AskNicely and JAVLN have been solving the same problem from two different angles for a while now. JAVLN runs the business, we help brokers hear their clients. Formalizing this partnership and working toward tighter integration between the two platforms, means less manual work and a much clearer signal on which clients need attention.”

Dale Smith, CEO of JAVLN, echoed the focus on proactive retention:

“Clients stay when they feel looked after well before renewal comes round. JAVLN Officetech gives brokers every client’s history in one place, summarized in about a minute and AskNicely shows how that client is feeling right now. Together they give brokers the full picture and a head start on the conversations that keep clients.”

The companies pointed to customer adoption at ICIB Brokerweb Insurance & Risk Advisory, where the platform is deployed to detect renewal risks and trigger preemptive outreach from account managers.

Peter Holder, National Operations Manager, ICIB Brokerweb Insurance & Risk Advisory, said:

“It’s helping us get ahead of our retention numbers by enabling our managers to proactively engage and reach out to clients for meaningful discussions before they decide to leave us. This has created a stronger connection with our clients and improved overall satisfaction,”

According to the vendors, the combined proposition centers on four key capabilities:

  • Catch issues before renewal, not after – Real-time alerts flag at-risk clients while there’s still time for a manager to step in – instead of finding out when the client is already shopping competitors.
  • Consistent service at any size – From a single office to a multi-branch group, teams get a shared standard for what good service looks like, with coaching against it built into the daily workflow.
  • Turning happy clients into new business – Automated review requests and referral generation turn satisfied customers into 5-star reviews and warm referrals, without extra manual work for the team.
  • Visibility for brokers, not just head office – Leaders see service quality and client sentiment before it becomes a churn problem, not after.

What This Means for the Industry

The partnership exemplifies the broader acceleration toward specialized, vertical CX ecosystems that merge operational back-office data with real-time experience management.

Traditionally, relationship-driven industries such as insurance broking have relied on disjointed, annual renewal cycles and isolated sentiment surveys that reveal customer dissatisfaction only after a churn decision has been made.

By unifying operational task history with immediate sentiment signals directly within daily frontline workflows, the collaboration highlights the fact that customer experience is moving away from passive scorekeeping toward embedded, predictive intervention.

As enterprises demand direct ROI from their CX technology investments, platforms that operationalize feedback to immediately protect renewals and drive organic referrals will set the benchmark for enterprise retention strategies.
