The Houston-based MSP joins an elite group of firms recognized for service excellence following a rigorous three-month training program led by The DiJulius Group.

Impress Computers, an IT services provider serving small and midsize businesses in the Greater Houston area, has officially earned the World-Class Customer eXperience Trained (WCCXT) certification.

The certification process was overseen by The DiJulius Group, a consultancy renowned for its work with global service leaders such as Starbucks, Ritz-Carlton, Lexus, and Nordstrom. To achieve the WCCXT designation, companies must complete three months of intensive training and demonstrate the successful deployment of experience-driven strategies within their internal operations.

The WCCXT program was developed specifically for the managed service provider (MSP) and IT sectors. It aims to bridge the gap between technical expertise and client-facing communication, helping staff translate complex technological concepts into accessible language for business owners.

Roland Parker, CEO of Impress Computers, highlighted the necessity of the certification in an industry often criticized for its communication barriers:

“So many small businesses in the Greater Houston area are underserved and unprotected from very real cyberthreats. Much of this is due to the IT industry’s failure to explain in very complex, technical terms in language that anyone can understand. Impress Computers is committed to providing the best service to our local community and that meant training EVERYONE on how to present these issues in relevant ways to our clients so that they have the information they need to make the best decision instead of overwhelming them.”

Parker continued:

“We also realize that this industry is known for its terrible client communications which means when a business does have a problem, they could feel like they are left in the dark. Going through and becoming certified helped us to identify these gaps and we’re confident that we’ll be able to provide better service and a better experience than ever before.”

The certification is noted for its high barrier to entry; despite the number of firms that attempt the program, only a small percentage successfully navigate the required organizational transformation. To date, only 76 companies have earned the WCCXT certification.

Based in Houston for over 23 years, Impress Computers specializes in IT support for the medical, financial, and manufacturing sectors, focusing on cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
