Oracle Unveils Fusion Agentic Applications

Oracle has introduced Fusion Agentic Applications, a new enterprise software powered by coordinated AI agent teams designed to proactively drive business outcomes within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

The applications operate natively within Oracle’s transactional systems, enabling real-time decision-making and execution at enterprise scale with full governance, unlike traditional AI assistants or copilots.

According to Oracle, Fusion Agentic Applications continuously reason, adjust, and act across business processes, maintaining shared context and advancing objectives while escalating only exceptions requiring human judgment.

Steve Miranda, executive vice president of Applications Development at Oracle, said:

Steve Miranda, executive vice president of Applications Development, Oracle“The way work gets done no longer matches the speed, complexity, or expectations of modern business as too much time is spent managing processes instead of driving outcomes. With Fusion Agentic Applications, we are moving enterprise software beyond passive systems of record and providing our customers with applications that can reason, decide, and act in pursuit of defined business objectives. This is a huge step forward for the industry and will help our customers achieve faster outcomes, focus their valuable time on strategic activities, and redefine how work works.”

The applications support outcome-driven execution, enterprise-grade governance, and auditability, integrating seamlessly with Oracle’s security framework and approval hierarchies.

Oracle currently offers 22 Fusion Agentic Applications targeting key areas such as workforce operations, supply chain sourcing, sales growth, and cash collection to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The new applications are powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and industry-leading large language models, enhancing finance, HR, supply chain, and customer experience functions.

Oracle AI Agent Studio supports the ecosystem by enabling organizations to build, connect, and manage AI agents and automation without traditional development, with built-in observability and safety controls.

Industry analysts praise Oracle’s approach for its deep integration into transactional systems, enabling scalable, secure, and outcome-focused AI automation that reduces manual work and accelerates decision-making.

Mark Smith, chief AI and software analyst at ISG, commented:

“The introduction of Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications represents a meaningful shift in enterprise software by moving beyond task automation to outcome-driven execution on the journey to an autonomous enterprise. As organizations look to scale automation across their business, having a platform that can coordinate agents across functions while keeping security and approvals inside the application suite will be an important differentiator.”
