Teresa Anania, Chief Customer Officer (CCO), Verint
Verint has announced an addition to its executive leadership team, appointing industry veteran Teresa Anania as Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
The move signals a strategic “doubling down” on customer outcomes as the company continues to scale its Verint CX Automation Platform. Anania, who brings over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software and customer success sectors, is tasked with leading the unified customer success team for the combined Verint-Calabrio enterprise.
Driving Measurable AI Outcomes
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for Verint as it seeks to bridge the gap between AI implementation and tangible business results. Anania’s remit covers global customer success, professional services, support and renewals across both Verint and Calabrio’s extensive customer bases.
Commenting on the appointment, Dave Rhodes, Chief Executive Officer at Verint, said:
“Teresa’s appointment reflects exactly where we are as a company. We’ve built one of the most powerful CX Automation platforms in the industry, delivering measurable AI business outcomes. Teresa’s experience with turning customer success into a competitive advantage is what will accelerate us to the next level.”
A Proven Track Record in CX
Anania joins Verint from cybersecurity firm Sophos, where she also served as CCO. Her high-profile career includes a tenure as CCO at Zendesk and a senior leadership role at Autodesk. Throughout these positions, she has built a reputation for scaling post-sales engagement models, improving retention rates, and driving consistent revenue growth across both enterprise and commercial segments.
In her new role, Anania will report directly to CEO Dave Rhodes, focusing on ensuring that the Verint-Calabrio integration translates into seamless value for the company’s global clientele.
Expressing her vision for the role, Anania stated:
“Verint is entering a new era. My focus is turning our strengths into measurable wins for customers — because outcomes are the scoreboard.”
